A marketplace we have been running since 2020
LocalMe is a B2B marketplace for food ingredients and agricultural products: producers sell directly to wholesale buyers. We have been with the project from structure and brand to managing development, and we still run it today.

- since 2020we’ve been running the project together with the client
- 1431430design screens, 2 dashboards: for buyers and sellers
- €40 000€40 0000budget for our scope: team, design, architecture, specs. Excluding development
- Finaldevelopment in its final stage, we lead the team
Six years of one project
- 2020First meetings with the client. The marketplace idea and the name are his; we take on how it will all work.
- 2021–2022Structure, brand, 143 screens, prototypes and detailed technical specs in Notion for every specialist.
- 2023A pause: the client ran out of budget for this stage.
- June 2026 nowThe client comes back to us. Development is handled by a new team under our management, now in its final stage.
“In 2020 I only had the idea and the name. The guys broke them down into screens, tasks and a team. Then there was a pause, and when I returned to the project, there wasn’t even a question of who to go to. They are doing a great job.”
Have a product idea? We’ll break it down into screens, tasks, and a team.

The whole project on one map
143 screens for buyer and seller, on desktop and mobile. Zoom and pan the map to see the scale.

Structure first
Before the first screen, we agreed on how the marketplace works: a product catalog and a farmer catalog, search by map and list, bargaining, personal accounts, product imports, moderation. This is the “as desired” diagram where it all began.
Then a technical specification in Notion for every specialist: so the designer, developers, and tester all worked from the same picture.

Brand: local and human
A strict “Local” and handwritten “Me”: a platform for business with real people behind it. Dark navy gives solidity for wholesale deals, yellow brings the energy of fields and harvest.
- Dark navy
- Yellow
- Blue
- Mint
- Coral
- Slate gray
Hand-drawn vegetables
Carrots, onions, greens, grain. These drawings decorate banners and notification screens: the wholesale platform feels alive, not like a warehouse.

Social media in the same style
Post templates: product photos, drawn vegetables, bright “Local products only” badges. The client swaps photos and text, and the feed stays recognizable.

Brand in real life: from notebook to semi truck
A seven-section brand book: logo, font, color, graphics, print, social media, transport. For each touchpoint, we showed how the brand works in practice.

Two dashboards, two different people
For a wholesaler, it’s important to find a product fast, compare prices, and understand how to pick it up.

For a producer, it’s important to list a product quickly, upload certificates, and see how sales are going.

What this means for you
A big product is more than design. It is structure, tasks for every person on the team, and people who hold the whole project in their heads for years.
We can run your entire project: from idea and brand to screens and tasks for developers. Or manage your team, as we do now at LocalMe.
